Good response to The Link


KUALA LUMPUR: Berjaya Golf Resort Bhd, a unit of Berjaya Land Bhd, is confident that its latest commercial project in Bukit Jalil, called The Link, will be fully taken up.

Properties marketing general manager Mah Siew Wan said the company had already sold 50% of the units before launch.

“The response has been very positive so far. Most purchasers have indicated that it is a choice location with great potential to be the next suburban commercial hub,” she said in an interview.

Mah said although The Link was Berjaya Golf’s first commercial project, the development could potentially be the next Bangsar or Sri Hartamas.

The Link offers buyers a choice of chic three- and four-storey shop offices (22’x75′ to 34’x75′).

“The glass panels which dominate the exterior view offer owners a very refreshing al-fresco ambience, “ she said.

According to Mah, the development with a gross sales value of about RM100mil is unique as each unit comes with individual lift.

“These 52 units of freehold shop offices have a contemporary design and each comes complete with a lift and private lift lobby, ensuring privacy and easy access to the upper floors,” she said.

She added that there was ample parking, with some units even having private car park bays.

The Link is also easily accessible, being located at the centre of a converging network of highways, such as the Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong, Kesas, Sungei Besi-Puchong bypass and Middle Ring Road II.

The development sits on 5.8 acres of freehold land parallel to the main thoroughfare that is linked to the major highways. Thus, 80% of the units have main road frontage.

“The wide column free verandahs allow for maximum usage of space and full frontage exposure. It is also accessible by LRT, which is less than 1km away,” Mah said, adding that The Link was also located near the 400-acre Bukit Jalil Golf and Country Resort.

She said since the development was also located within the Multimedia Super Corridor, being designated as an international zone, was another plus factor.

Mah said the construction of The Link was ongoing and expected to be completed within 36 months.

The units are priced from RM1.4mil onwards for the three-storey units and from RM1.98mil for the four-storey units. The Link has a net saleable area of 330,000 sq ft.
