KUALA LUMPUR: Agrocon (M) Sdn Bhd will be a full-fledged developer when it launches later this year its maiden residential project, Riana Ukay, said senior general manager Fred Liau.
Riana Ukay, comprising 80 two-storey houses on 90 acres, has a gross development value of about RM32mil.
Located in Ukay Perdana in Hulu Kelang, the project was close to established neighbourhoods like Wangsa Ukay and Bukit Antarabangsa, Liau told a press conference yesterday.
The project is to be completed by end-2008.
Project consultant K. B. Teoh said almost 40% of the units were taken up during a sales preview on May 26 to 27.
The houses, with lot sizes of 20ft by 65ft and 20ft by 70ft, are priced from RM330,000 each.
Teoh said the prices were “considered reasonable” in comparison to other new projects in the area.
Since its inception, Agrocon has completed housing projects worth over RM1bil as a contractor.
On the company’s future plans, Liau said: “We have another 80 acres in Kajang, which we may look at developing after this project.”
