Another feather in the cap

BUKIT Kiara Properties Sdn Bhd (BKP) has introduced Hypercubes Living, yet another innovative lifestyle concept for its Verve Suites condominium in Mont’Kiara, Kuala Lumpur.

This concept is exclusively for buyers of its Vibe Tower (Block B), the second of the Verve Suites’ four blocks. It has been well received, with 55% of the 188 fully furnished units in Vibe Tower sold within a month of its first preview on April 21.

BKP group managing director Tong Nguen Khoong said the essence of the concept was best seen in the Hypercubes Lounge on Vibe Tower’s rooftop.

The lounge, formed out of multiples cubes, will have what BKP calls the Hyperpool, Hypergames, Hyperglass, Hyperchill, Hyperdine, Hyperkitchen and Hyperspa. They are a series of inter-connecting activity hubs that offer residents a wide selection of recreational pursuits beyond their home.

The Hyperchill, with attached plunge pools, will be ideal for relaxation while the Hyperpool will boast a glass-edged swimming pool 26 floors above ground where people may feel that they are swimming among the clouds.

“The Hyperdine is a glass-encased dining room that has a retractable shade screen for use during hot afternoons. At night, this screen is retracted to allow diners to enjoy the starry night scene.

“Home owners are welcome to use this dining room and associated kitchen facilities in the Hyperkitchen to entertain their guests, with their own culinary skills or by inviting a celebrity chef for the evening,” he said, adding that the Hyperkitchen would also showcase some of the most innovative and exclusive kitchen appliances available in the world today.

It would include the famous Gaggenau high-end kitchen appliances.

Tong said the main difference between the Hypercubes Lounge and Vertical Lounge in the Viva Tower (Block A/now almost 90% sold) was that the former would have activity hubs spread over little spaces.

Also, instead of having all the 6,000 sq ft under a roof as in the RM2mil Vertical Lounge (on the 35th floor), the Hypercubes Lounge (27th floor) will have half the 6,000 sq ft as an open-roof terrace and the other half internal space.

Tong said the Hypercubes Living concept was developed over eight meetings from Jan 9 to March 8. He said two new show units with totally new designs were now open for viewing at the Pavilions, BKP’s sales-cum-show-office at the project site.

“This concept first came about when the team realised the need for Verve Suites residents to have an integrated lifestyle,” he said, adding that the Vibe Tower standard units would have 633 to 890 sq ft built-up areas while the limited garden villas would be from 1,122 to 2,659 sq ft. The average price is RM650 per sq ft.

Tong said the higher pricing was reasonable in view of rising construction cost.

The Vibe Tower’s fully furnished designer suites – called Urban Edge, Metro Bliss, Classic Chic and Urban Glam – have their own appeal.

For example, the stylish Urban Edge will have “diamond cut” surfaces and Swarovski crystal-inspired lighting that will give the suite a stunning effect, while the Urban Glam will have bright colours and daring shapes.

Tong said each of the 52 Urban Edge units would have four expensive Swarovski lights and a chandelier using Swarovski crystals. “We are also looking at working with other innovative brands to see how they can fit in with us,” he added.

On the Verve Shops, a 60,000 sq ft retail component in Verve Suites, Tong said all the retail units would be kept for rental only and would be completed in 1½ years.

He said the Mont’Kiara Performing Arts Centre, the first and only such centre in Mont’Kiara, would be located on top of the six-level Verve Shops. It would be ideal for dance, cultural arts and theatrical performances.

BKP director-cum-chief operating officer Vincent Lim said as the Verve Suites units would be fully furnished, purchasers, including tenants, could move in “right away” with probably just their luggage.

Lim believes that the unique positioning of Verve Suites would enhance the attractiveness of its capital value as well as its rental yield when the development, with a gross development value of about RM450mil (including the retail), is completed in four to five years.
